Older Persons Month kicks off with variety of events

Older Persons Month officially began on the 30 September with the theme “Respecting the Wisdom and Value of Older People.”

The Department of Children and Family Services’ Older Persons Calendar is now widely available and the public is invited to attend the following events throughout the remainder of October. Three events have been taken off this schedule as they are now fully booked:

Thursday, 4 October

Little Cayman Social, Little Cayman Beach Resort, 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Mindfulness Experience – Wellness Event, Seven Mile Public Beach (nearest cabana to Calico Jack’s), 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday, 6 October

Circle of Love Fellowship Brunch, Triple C School Hall, 10 a.m. -12.30 p.m.

Monday, 8 October

Panel Discussion, Talk Today Radio Cayman, GT Town Hall, Live at 12 p.m.

Tuesday, 9 October
