Dr. Alwin has completed more than 4,000 successful surgeries, including 600 joint replacement surgeries, 1,000 arthroscopies and 700 arthroscopic ligament reconstructions of the knee. His extensive knowledge spans across the most innovative techniques such as computer navigation for joint replacements and Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation (ACI) for cartilage injury treatment.

As an orthopedist, Dr. Alwin is passionate about arthroscopy and joint replacements. He is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing Health City Cayman Islands’ state of the art Orthopaedic Department. He brings a total commitment to excellence, as well as healing patients suffering from debilitating joint illnesses.

Dr. Alwin received his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from St. John’s Medical College at Bangalore University, and his MS in Orthopaedics from JJM Medical College in Davangere, India. He undertook his Fellowship in Arthroplasty at Wockhardt Hospital in Mumbai, and his Fellowship in Arthroscopy from Kamineni Hospital in Hyderabad.
