Thompson, Gene

Gene Thompson is director of Thompson Development Ltd., one of the premier development companies in the Cayman Islands, whose business enterprises include commercial and resort development, tourism, real estate and retail.

Thompson is project director for Health City Cayman Islands, an internationally accredited, state-of-the-art tertiary care hospital in East End.

Thompson is a founding member of the Cayman Island Real Estate Brokers Association, a founding member and director of the Association for the Advancement of Cruise Tourism and director of the Cayman Islands Investment Council. He is past director of the National Trust for the Cayman Islands and past chairman of the board of radio station Heaven 97.
